Als neue/r Team Lead Packaging (m/w/d) managst du die neuen Verpackungsinnovationen. Du arbeitest gemeinsam mit deinem Team und unterschiedlichen Expert:innen an der Realisierung von Verpackungsprodukten im Bereich Digital- und Analogdruck, Coatings, flexible Verpackungen (Papier und Plastik), Reuse, sowie InkJet. Mit deiner Arbeit beschleunigst du den Weg hin zu nachhaltigerer/ zirkulärer Verpackung. 

 Als Teil der Siegwerk-Gruppe baust du auf das stabile Fundament eines Global Players mit 180 Jahren Verpackungs-Know-how.
Your Challenges
  • Du bist für die Führung eines Teams von Verpackungsspezialisten verantwortlich und entwickelst deine Mitarbeiter kontinuierlich weiter  
  • Du entwickelst und koordinierst die strategische Roadmap unserer Packaging Aktivitäten  
  • Du behältst den Überblick über unsere Produktentwicklung und die ordnungsgemäße Ausführung der Leistung (verfügbare Produktionskapazität, Vorlaufzeit, Qualität und Produktionskosten)  
  • Du definierst die Vorgaben für Materialien sowie Packungsgrößen und koordinierst Optimierungs- und Innovationsprojekte  
  • Du und dein Team führen die technische Qualifizierung und Validierung neuer Produkte an den Produktionsstandorten in ganz Europa durch und machst sie für die Skalierung bereit  
  • Du denkst das Zusammenspiel Verpackung und Abpacken mit  
  • Du arbeitest eng, vertraulich und eigenverantwortlich mit Marketing, Einkauf, Vertrieb, IT und Supply Chain zusammen
Your Skills
  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Verpackungstechnik oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang  
  • Du verfügst über mindestens 7 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Verpackungsmaterialien in einem Unternehmen der Konsumgüterindustrie
  • Du bringst Kenntnisse in den Disziplinen Packaging Development und Implementierung von Produktinnovationen mit  
  • Du hast Lust Lust Komplexität zu managen und eigenverantwortlich zu arbeiten  
  • Du hast bereits Erfahrungen im Bereich Führungsverantwortung  
  • Du arbeitest organisiert und verfügst über Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement  
  • Du bist ein guter Kommunikator in Englisch (Deutschkenntnisse sind ein großes Plus).
  • Du bist ein eigenmotivierter Teamplayer mit einem hohen Maß an Selbständigkeit.

As a new Team Lead Packaging (m/f/d) you will manage the new packaging innovations. You will work with your team and various experts to realise packaging products in the areas of digital and analogue printing, coatings, flexible packaging (paper and plastic), reuse and inkjet. With your work you accelerate the way to more sustainable/circular packaging. 

 As part of the Siegwerk Group, you build on the stable foundation of a global player with 180 years of packaging know-how.
Your Challenges
  • You are responsible for leading a team of packaging specialists and continuously developing your employees  
  • You develop and coordinate the strategic roadmap of our packaging activities  
  • You keep track of our product development and proper performance (available production capacity, lead time, quality and production costs)  
  • You define the specifications for materials as well as packaging sizes and coordinate optimisation and innovation projects  
  • You and your team carry out the technical qualification and validation of new products at production sites across Europe and make them ready for scaling up  
  • You think through the interplay between packaging and packing  
  • You work closely, confidentially and autonomously with Marketing, Purchasing, Sales, IT and Supply Chain
Your skills
  • You have a degree in packaging technology or a comparable course of study  
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in the field of packaging materials in a company in the consumer goods industry
  • You have knowledge in the disciplines of packaging development and implementation of product innovations  
  • You have the desire to manage complexity and work on your own initiative  
  • You already have experience in the area of management responsibility  
  • You work in an organised manner and have project management skills  
  • You are a good communicator in English (knowledge of German is a big plus).
  • You are a self-motivated team player with a high degree of independence.
